» The functions of the Provost are to promote the success of students at CIIT by providing enrichment programs, counseling, guidance, orientation, and support.

» More specifically, he looks after the affairs of the student's hostels (male and female).

» He also deals with students behavior issues and acts of indiscipline.

» Promotes parent-teacher relationship, and supervises students clubs and societies.
