M. Junaid Zaidi, Rector CIIT signed this agreement in Islamabad which was then presented in formal signing ceremony to Professor Janice Reid, Vice Chancellor UWS. </span> </td> </tr> <tr style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Times New Roman"> <td colspan="1" style="padding-right: 8px; padding-left: 8px; padding-bottom: 8px; padding-top: 8px; height: 14px; text-align: justify" valign="top"> <span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Arial">This MoU is different since it followed already active and productive research collaboration between the two institutes. Prof. Shahid Nadeem Chohan is currently running a research project on Citrus in collaboration with Dr. Paul Halford of the UWS. Prof. Raheel Qamar is Co-PI in this research project. This collaboration has so far trained three research associates in the field of Molecular Plant Pathology and produced four publications and presentations nationally and internationally.
