Health Awareness Campaign- Fall 2008
In terms of health issues, the young adults of a country are the most important
and vulnerable segment of the population. At COMSATS Institute of Information
Technology, Chak-Shahzad Campus, we have about 2000 such persons as
our students. But they lack even the basic awareness about common diseases and have
limited information about first-aid practices.
In order to spread such awareness among students and faculty, a Health Awareness
Campaign is being organized at CIIT, Chak Shazad Campus. This campaign will consist
of a series of health awareness lectures and activity-camps on various health issues
relevant to this age group. This would be a four-day activity with each day related
to a particular theme.
